Author has written 1 story for Rise of the Guardians. Hello, other people who either aspire to write or have no social life. I am... the girl with no name. u So, this is a profile. Let's get down to it since you're all dying to hear about my interesting life. I like movie adaptions of books pretty well if they get the major stuff right. That 2010 Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief movie? I cried. So hard. Erm... since my eyes are tearing up as we speak, I'm going to change the subject quickly. Oh! Look to your right! It's a distraction! Did you look to your right? I bet some of you did *eyebrow wiggle* Anyway, my favorite book is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. It's basically a cautionary tale about what happens when people try to replace books with other meaningless things, and it's so similar to today's society that it's frightening. Seriously. I feel so late reading this book since this year (2013) is actually the 60th anniversary of the year it was published. You guys should definitely check it out because it totally changed my perspective of life. My favorite trilogy is the Kane Chronicles, just because it's epic. Yup. Basically, I'm one of those suckers who'll read anything written by Rick Riordan. That being said, my favorite book series is Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and yes, I'm including the Heroes of Olympus series with it. I'm going to state where my allegiances lie before anybody decides to sharpen their spears when the read my stories: I support Leo and Hazel or Lazel or whatever, but only because their relationship is complicated and intersting. I like Frank and Hazel or Frazel to an extent, but it's just too cute for me. Same thing goes for the Reyna/Jason/Piper thing. Speaking of PJO and HoO, the first fanfiction I ever read was the amazing Asilda's The Death God Alliance. You should go check it out. I haven't really found any stories that compare with hers, but some of the other good ones that I've found (as far as PJO and HoO go) are Being Fourteen is Tough, Being Fifteen is Tougher, and You've Got Mail. Like I said, you should go check them out. But, hey! It's totally your choice. ...See what I did there? I made you think you had a choice, didn't I? I bet you were thinking of looking up those stories, weren't you? But, seriously. You don't have a choice. Go read those stories, and you'll be hooked for life. ...Done already? And you still came back to read my profile? I love you guys (:u:)--sobs tears of happiness. JK. I never cry! My favorite movie is Rise of the Guardians. Hey! Don't judge, okay? I'm only a freshman in high school, so watching movies about childhood legends is totally acceptable...right? Erm... whatever, haters. XP I admire the story telling alot, and when I try to write in a lofty way, I want to imitate William Joyce as best I can because his stories are like revamped fairy tales. About the movie, well, let's just say Chris Pines played Jack's voice well. Really well. I mean...dang! Dude, that sounded really awkward and inappropriate in my head. My favorite cartoon is Adventure Time because it may look really sweet and loving on the outside, but then on the inside, it's like, "BAM! WE ALL LIVE IN A POST-APOCALYPTIC WORLD WITH FREAKY CREATURES AND INSANE ICE PEOPLE WHO ARE OVER ONE THOUSAND YEARS OLD!" I mean, where do you come up with a story as imaginative as that? Pendelton Ward has got some serious street cred where I come from. Last but not least, I am seriously in love with manga and anime. It all started back in third grade when I discovered Naruto and Pokemon. People (mostly dumb sexist guys) would look at me and say, "You like this stuff? But... it's for boys!" Idiots. Anyway, then came Yu-gi-o, Dragonball, Bakugan, and Beyblade (even though Beyblade didn't come until later on, I still count it! Don't judge me!). Then, in fourth grade, my best friend introduced me to my very first manga. She's moved away since then, but I always give her credit for getting me into the craziness known as "Fangirl Logic." Inside joke... whatever. Anyway, she showed up at school with a copy of the first volume of Shugo Chara from the library. The rest is history! But, don't tell, you guys. It's PG-13, and I was like, nine. My parents still don't know XD! Since then, I've known that I want to be a manga artist when I get older, but I don't tell anyone because it's not really a practical career choice. It's like, being a talented singer and going to Hollywood, expecting to be discovered right away. But this is really going to help me with writing stories, since I really suck at writing scripts. SPREAD THE STUPIDITY Only in America ...do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front. Only in America ...do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke. Only in America ...do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters. Only in America ...do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage. Only in America ...do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight. Only in America ...do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. EVER WONDER ... Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin? Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed? Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'? Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word? Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'? Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dish washing liquid made with real lemons? Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker? Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour? Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food? Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes? Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections? You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?! Why don't sheep shrink when it rains? Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together? If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress? If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal? Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master... He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher... He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer... He had no army, yet kings feared him...
