Author has written 1 story for A song of Ice and Fire.

Hello, I am a random internet person. I write a ASOIAF fanfiction. It's good, you should read it. My intention with it was to rectify an issue that always seems to come up in the fantasy genre. This being that indigenous peoples are never drawn on for inspiration and largely ignored by writers, even though they were also around and doing a great many things during the medieval period, which is when ASOAIF takes place. The story contains:

  1. Stuff about The Reach and Dorne, which you don't hear too much about in the main series
  2. A lot of influences from pre-Colombian cultures for OCs
  3. Ritual human sacrifice
  4. Assorted literary references
  5. A chapter from the point of view of a bird (who was once a woman)
  6. Stuff about Starfall and the greatsword Dawn
  7. Alternative quotation marks
  8. Wine and tobacco use
  9. A parallel story that exists alongside main characters instead of modifying them
  10. Miscellaneous historical facts
  11. And much more
Gifts for the Sun reviews
"What's west of Westeros?" asked Arya Stark. As the War of Five Kings concludes and the Great Houses face East toward an ascendant Targaryen, a lowly family of the Reach and the Daynes of Starfall find an answer to this question. A strange folk that claim to have sailed across the Sunset Sea come with offers of gold, weapons, and knowledge, all in exchange for gifts for the sun.
