Author has written 2 stories for Lois and Clark.

Well, the last time I updated this was probably when I was in the eighth grade, so now I'm in college, and let's hope a better writer than I used to be. I don't really have the time anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't like to give it a go every once and awhile. I do still enjoy playing the piano and am teaching myself (very slowly) how to play guitar. And if any of you have ever tried to sing Mahler's 8th, (or played it for that matter) you are feeling my current pain.

Here is a little bit of inspiration for you all provided by a poet named Christine Scanlon: (no, this is not me, silly, this poet is actually published)

"The Grilled Cheese Sandwich: An Elusive Essential to Social Success"

1. On Acquiring a Social Position

A well-made grilled chese sandwich can open a vista / leading to popularity ad the possibilities / for "a good time."

2. On the Life of the Party

Where the perfect grilled cheese sandwich is / the successful party is also.

3. The Mark of a Social Climber

When you see a woman in silks and sables / speak to a grilled cheese snadwich as if it were dirt / you may be sure she hasn't come far / from the ground herself.

4. On Freshness

"Keep your hands on your own grilled cheese!" / might be the first chapter in any book / on etiquette.

5. On Coarse Language

Coarse slang is beside the mark byt a good / grilled cheese snadwich cannot help but elicit / an enthusiastic "Right O!"

6. On Decency

The phrases devised to close a letter to a betrothed / are limited only by imagination / but do not belong in this or any other grilled cheese sandwich.

5. A Note to the Gentlemen

It would be presumptuous to tell any man how to prepare / his own grilled cheese sandwich when the answer is written / in his heart, his intellect, and his ardent civic pride.
