Harlow, It's Me!

This girl is no writer. She cannot spell (being slightly dyslexic, the spelling of 'watch' eluded her even at age 12), and she does not do grammar as well as she wants (She is totally blaming that on her cat). She really should not be writing, but she is stubborn. No thanks to her being an insomniac, she has to think silly to survive through the night without tearing her hair out and one of those nights, she decided she was going to be brave and start writing things down to make someone else laugh. It was either that or hair transplant. So born her Mass Effect Fanfics stories.

But frankly, in this day and age, we can all do with a little more humor in our lives. So, anyway, came April 2013, I decided to write the stories that had been playing in my head. And I have been having fun ever since. (Yes, I did just jump from third person to first.)

I am extremely silly... I admit... Somehow, I just am. If you want to read me in a slightly more serious tone, you can find me at waenhir@wordpress.com. I rant and at rare times churn out a piece about psychology here and there. No, I do not roll up unconscious Turians in carpets or destroy perfectly good Palavan-made chocolate syrups there. Yes, I am capable of being serious, once in a while.

I usually edit after I posted. I am one of those who are cursed with tunnel vision - I find one mistake each time I re-read what I wrote. Not two, not three, one miserable mistake. I make more than that, I know! Tunnel vision is not my friend. So, without actually re-reading eighty times each piece or chapter, I re-read and edit it three times and out it goes to you. Then, I crash into bed and let my subconscious deal with everything from dreaming to not getting hit by bus on my way to work after I wake. Once in a while during my subconscious sling, my consciousness might pull out my IPhone and re-read the things I have done and edit a couple more times, all before dinner, which is usually at 10pm.

And I just summed up a typical day of mine for no apparent reason...

Did I mention I am half-Indian, half-Chinese?

Also, I think I can call myself a gamer, since I game a lot...

Oh, and I like to say, "harlow" whenever I should say "hello".
