In spite of the trauma he's endured, Ahkmenrah finally feels accepted by the museum's inhabitants- until the ghosts of his past return to haunt him. Desperate, he agrees to Larry's suggestion of therapy, despite his doubts. Can time truly heal? What exactly happened to him all those years ago? Will friendship and love be enough this time? What would have happened had Kahmunrah not been the only Egyptian Pharaoh at the Smithsonian that night, what would have happened had his younger brother been there and what would have happened had the writers stuck to the original script? Needless to say, when the two are reunited it is far from a happy reunion. (Now complete after a very very long hiatus)

This is my take on how Ahkmenrah coped with museum life after being released for the first time. Not everyone's happy with his release, and trust must be earned. Will the pharaoh be able to make a life of his own, or will old worries bog him down? And how can he get past the fact most of the inhabitants could have freed him, but didn't? Will he ever belong? Does he even want to?

Ahkmenrah, Lancelot, Tilly and all the other exhibits have gotten used to life at the British Museum. That is until one fateful dawn when something strange happens and they are whisked away on a new adventure; seeing old friends and making new ones. And, well, saving the world, again. I know that some of you, at least, have already rewritten this movie. While I acknowledge, these wonderful, imaginative stories, this is my version of how this film should have played out; namely, what I think could have happened if Ahkmenrah had been included like the scriptwriters had originally planned. Desperate, Larry released the mummy, but now that the battle is over and the museum is safe, what does he do with him now? What does the mummy mean by assuming command of his kingdom? How much of what Larry says does the mummy actually understand? Can museum exhibits eat? A series of stories beginning with Ahkmenrah's first night of freedom, some tragic, some lighter, some pure fun
