It's been nearly ten years since I created this account, and I never imagined how much things would change during that period of time.

I've been noticeably inactive over here, as of late, and... I'm a bit dismayed to have to inform you why this is the case.

In case you don't want to go to the trouble of reading that wall of text in full, however, the long and short of it is that the fandom experience has become irreparably tainted for me. I no longer derive any sense of joy from creating content for these characters and their universe. I'm so sorry, truly, truly sorry, to abandon you guys and leave works unfinished. :(

But, for the sake of my personal growth and recovery, I felt that this was the best choice I could possibly make.

I'm still writing and sharing fic on Archive Of Our Own under the same pen name: users/braille_upon_my_skin These stories are for my current fandom, The Greatest Showman, and if there is any interest, I may start posting them here.

I thank everyone for the love and support you have shown my HSM stories over the many years I devoted to writing them. Even when my passion began to wilt, your reviews never failed to bring a smile to my face.
