Hi,

I have IdeoMania about Freaks and Geeks (Daniel and Lindsay in particular), so i figured i would do something about that. Having spent the last few days going over the only 18 episodes in existence i need an outlet.

Other likes:

X-Files (Mulder and Scully, obviously...funny stories - like the show)

Doctor Who (Rose and the Doctor, Rose/jack/Doctor stories, stories were Rose works for Torchwood and is discovered back in her first universe by jack, the Doctor doesn't leave her behind again stories, and the Doctor changes or Rose meets different versions stories).

My so called life (Angela/Jordan) I just discovered this great series and it is just as amazing as F&G, and so funny and real- I love it.

Firefly (Kaylee/Mal) whether its friendship or more i just can't get enough of the pairing of my two fav characters from the show.

Dead like me (George/Mason) I'm pretty sure I just liked doomed ships, which is sad. But i always LOVED their scenes, especially when he told her he loved her, and when she let him stay with her and daisy.

It's nice having thoughts out there in the big wide world for anyone to read, so please review.

My first story - I'm aware that its sort of lacking in some parts but it's a start. I'll keep going if anyone thinks it has promise.

My second story - Its a WIP, actually I've just completed chapter 4, not thinking about 5 right now. I shall ponder.

Lots of people seem to be reading, not a lot of reviews though (A big thank you to the wonderful people who have reviewed) and I really want to finish this before i lose interest.

Reading over the chapters again makes me feel better about this story (its strange how your view can change with a little distance) and its not as bad as i thought, which makes me want to keep going. Unfortunately i got the Sookie Stackhouse novels right before NYE so I'm not really thinking about Freaks and Geeks, I've almost finished the 7th book and I've sort of read ahead (its a horrible habit) to the 8th book and now i really can't wait for May (and the 9th book) - luckily i have tons of fanfic to fill the gap.

This is what I'm currently thinking:

-He'll take her home, somehow.

-I'll write about the fight they have coming back from driving lessons after the car breaks down. (you know the missing gap in the story)

-God, i really wish people in 1980 had had cellphones. How on earth did they contact each other when they broke down somewhere? Its ridiculous!

-They need to finish the card game- someone MUST win.

-Will they drink some vodka? I don't know, it definitely might loosen some tongues (eeww...head outta the gutter people, this is a K+ story)

Update finished chapter 6. Unfortunately my head's full of Drose right now after discovering some fantastic fanfic (hence my very full favorites list), so I sort of have to force myself to focus and not combine (visibly) the characters of Lindsay and Daniel and Rose and the Doctor...I think some slipped in there anyway but oh well. Thank you everyone who has favorited/reviewed/or Alerted me, its all very motivational :)

Also he he How different it is to post a Dr Who fic to a F&G's one like 4 reviews within a hour! Oh well i don't really see why one is apparently easier to review then the other but what do i know? I guess that settles the do i write a 2nd chapter argument. But i haven't given up on F&G's ...but i'm gonna be really really happy when its over coz it's hard. Oh and that first story may get a new chapter if i find avoiding writing chapter 7 for Days is frustrating and i wanna take a rest.

Oh thank god it's working, I was going a bit nuts - i couldn't review and i couldn't update...it was hell.

I might have sort of written a whole new story while i was waiting impatiently refreshing the login page, another one in the DW verse- but this one is one chapter and its set after the events of series 4, the Doctor changes his mind and comes back for Rose. I'm up 6 pages and its almost finished so i might post that tomorrow or the next day.

Okay, I may have started a new DW fic that I'm having a little TOO much fun with to put down (I have at least 12 chapters done already...I've posted 2) and concentrate on finishing my new F&G fic...but just for the moment. Oh, but I have started writing another chapter for 'Days like this' which is about halfway finished (?)...I'm starting to realize it's really hard to just pick it all up again months later. But I'm trying.
