Hi. I have been writing all my life, but mostly original stories and other fan fiction. There are many authors whom I admire and these include Rowling, Tom Robbins, Murakami, and Jane Green. There are also many fan fiction authors I love on LJ. I was born in Manchester, England, but currently reside in the Pacific Northwest in the USA. (And, no, it is nothing like Twilight.) It has now been several years since grad school ended, but I am not lucky enough to find a job in my field. In school I studied English, Communications, and Psychology, but I also studied music, but now I am working in an office, writing on the weekends, and wondering if the money I spent on school was worth it. My student loans are enormous and, despite the fact that I was a little older than many of my classmates, I still feel that I have a lifetime ahead of me to pay them off. Boo!

My favorite colors are yellow, peach, blue, and silver and my favorite animal is the seahorse. I am afraid of spiders, bees, mosquitoes, beetles, and almost all insects. I have a one pet cat named Sumi.

My mother is English and my father is a Japanese-American, but my Japanese writing skills leave much to be desired. I still love Japanese culture, though, and I am proud of my heritage.

I collect porcelain dolls, and have over 300 of them.

My favorite sport to play is volleyball and to watch is football (soccer.) I'm also getting more and more into American baseball. Go Mariners!

Someday I might be famous, but I don't know for what. Hopefully it will be for writing, but who knows?
