I have been an aspiring writer for a long, long time. Like anything else, it takes discipline and motivation in order to do something. For a long time I have had neither. I have started so many stories, novels, movies, etc.; I have lost count.

I live in Illinois and have been frantically trying to get a teaching job. Things have been very competitive and I have been unsuccesful.

I went to Michigan State University (GO SPARTANS!!!) where I received my Bachelor's Degree in English. After graduation, I had some time to contemplate what direction my life was moving in and what I should or could do with my Englsih degree. All I could think of was teaching. Just kidding.

I needed more education, so I went to Roosevelt University, in Chicago to get my Master's degree in Secondary Education. I earned the Master's and my certification after a year and a half.

Who would have thought my education would screw me out of a job. I have been told by several school districts that I am too qualified to hire. Too expensive.

So here I am, attempting to do the writing thing, in order to keep myself sane and hopefully make a career out of it
