Bardock awakens on an unknown planet, finding himself to be alive and well. He runs into another Saiyan on the planet who explains that the natives of the planet have been taking care of himself and Bardock, and that a small handful of Saiyans besides Raditz, Nappa and Prince Vegeta have survived the attack on Vegeta. He also learns that he's been in a coma for thirty years….
