I am InSilenceSheDwells.

On many other sites I frequently visit, I am known as Silenia. Nope, not my real life name. The username Silenia was already taken here at FFN, though, so instead I chose this one. You can call me Silence, Silenia or Sil if you prefer. InSilenceSheDwells obviously works too, even if it's a tad long. I don't mind any nicknames based on my username, including Silly, Silly Sil or Silly Silenia, provided you don't mean it in a bad way... after all, it's true. I'm pretty silly at times, and damn proud of it. xD
I live in the Netherlands - GMT +01.00 if anyone cares, GMT +02.00 during Daylight Saving Time. Born here, raised here, living here all of my life so far and it's likely that will not change anytime soon if ever.

As English is my second language, typos and stupid mistakes, whether spelling or grammar, tend to find their way into my fics from time to time. I try to keep them down to an absolute minimum, but obviously, I do sometimes miss them. If you notice any, feel free to point them out and I will change them once I have the time to do so. Please do not flame or attack me, though. Constructive critism is fine - you are allowed to have your opinion, after all, which includes disliking or even hating something, but it is highly preferable if you say what you dislike and why - for example, you think that [character] would never respond in the way I wrote - and if possible, give a suggestion how you think it would be better.
If you only want to review to say something along the lines of "This sUxx!!! U sh0ulD st0p wr1tn", it does not help anyone.

While currently not part of any of my uploaded fics, I am aware that I can't properly write Hagrid's accent to save my life and that some of my characters are slightly OOC at times. As several of my fics are AU - Alternate Universe - or AR - Alternate Reality - I am aware that they are not completely following Canon. No need to point that out. ;)

Drabble and Prompt Collection

All kind of one-shots, drabbles, prompt-based or not, short parodies and otherwise non-multi chaptered works I wrote.
Currently it only holds two one-shots, both prompt-based, set in the Marauders Era. Considering how most of those drabbles will be at most slightly related and most won't be related to the others at all, all kind of settings, time-periods, characters, pairings and such can be expected. As of now the 'fic'-rating is T, each and every drabble also has its own rating, though. The general rating goes by the highest-rated drabble within it, so should I add any M-rated drabbles, the rating will change. Most drabbles will be challenge-related, but some will be just written in the spur of the moment.

In the same manner that each drabble will have its own rating, each will also have the pairings - if any - and all warnings related to that specific drabble written down. This way, you can easily skip a single drabble if you don't like the rating, pairing or warnings while still capable of reading the other drabbles.

General rating: Currently T, may be upped to M later on.
Pairings: None mentioned in drabble 1. Drabble 2: pre-JPLE.
Warnings: Not much right now. Both drabbles uploaded could've easily fit in canon, I guess. Irresponsible use of potions in the first drabble. I guess that's it right now.
Status: Non-applicable, because the "chapters" are not related. WIP, strictly speaking, but all individual drabbles are complete.

Harry Potter: Runaway Children

M-rated, AU/AR fic that starts pre-Hogwarts.

Harry is abused by the Dursleys and runs away when he is six years old. By wishing and accidental apparating, he ends up on the streets of London. Nearly immediately he passes out from malnutrition, injuries and magical exhaustion. Not much later, he is found by two Squibs that have been kicked out by their elitist pureblood parents. With help of a young werewolf, they heal him and take him in. He becomes part of the "Pack". Later on, several other squibs and muggleborns become part of the pack. Harry won't be anything like old Dumbles had imagined when he dropped Harry at the Dursleys. As is likely obvious, includes OCs.
Pairings: No pairings decided at the moment. There will be pairings later on, slash or het not yet decided on. Pairing(s) including Harry will start much later in the fic - he's six, after all - but there will likely be other pairings not including Harry relatively early on.
Rated M for (future) language, violence and non-graphic sexual content.
Warnings: Currently: Abuse, violence, non-graphic sexual content, runaway!Harry (and thus, not-growing-up-with-the-Dursleys!Harry), Grey/Darkish!Harry (not evil), independant/non-puppet!Harry, metamorphmagus!Harry, street!Harry, manipulative!Dumbledore, AU/AR, includes OCs, Dumbledore-bashing, possible Ron-bashing.
Status: WIP, updating is relatively slow right now. Sorry.

Harry Potter's Revolution

M-rated, AU/AR post-Hogwarts, post-Voldemort fic. Not HBP/DH-compliant.

Voldemort has been defeated by Harry after a gruesome war. Harry realizes that while the acute problem has been solved, the reasons that this could happen are still there. Change is needed. A new prophecy is made. A new time will start. It seems that Voldemort's destruction was only part of Harry's destiny.
Main pairing: HPHG (also known as Harmony)
Rated M for language, pre-story character deaths, non-graphic sexual content, pre-story and possibly in-story violence. Possibly only warrants a T right now, but not for long.
Warnings: Dumbledore/Ron/Dursley-bashing. Non HBP/DH-compliant. AU/AR. Mentions of violence and murder during the Second War. Non-canon main pairing. Character Deaths previous to story, including but not limited to Dumbledore, the Dursleys, Bellatrix and Rabastan Lestrange.
Status: WIP.

Translations
Working on translating Batsutousai's Abandon and Reclaim from English to Dutch, with her permission. Has been a while since updating the translation, will try to update ASAP. For warnings, check the original story or the translated version's summary. Much thanks to my beta for this translation, SileaLove.
Currently extremely busy and thus not taking requests for translations, unless they are an English to Dutch or Dutch to English HP-fandom one-shot, which is relatively easy and quick to do most of the time.

Harry Potter and the Really Weird Dreams

Summary: After the final battle with Voldemort, Harry and Ginny married. Happily married for exactly a year, Harry starts to get really strange dreams. Obsessed by these dreams, he slowly loses his grip on reality. Are they his way of dealing with the past, or are these… dreams… trying to tell him something?

Language: English.

Rating: Probably M, but perhaps it will end up as a T. I doubt it, however.

Genres: Humor/Parody

Warnings: Hm. A shitload of warnings, I'm afraid. Don't feel like typing them all out already, but to get a basic idea: It's a parody on all kind of cliches in the HP fandom. Will most likely contain both Slash and Het. Will most likely be rated M for non-graphic sexual situations, violence and language. Non-HBP/DH-compliant, although certain elements of it may pop up.

Status: Future. Too busy with other stuff to have even more WIPs uploaded right now. Working on the outline past chapter 11 - writing out chapter 1. Will start posting when I am slightly more up-to-date with my other fics.
