I'm a college student who would like to take up writing as a side hobby. I'm hoping to get some feedback here, but I just enjoy writing and hope that it brings a little happiness to someone's life.

Dark falls, the light's chromatic nature wakes

Black brilliance in the water, nature rifts

And struggles as enormous shadows drift

Across my face, the infernal sun bakes

This hate born in a dazzling whip of sky

Inside my mind, anger, wrath, pain, the scores

With hatred set to play the breaking cords

Of my cold heart, then love is left to die

War, the broken, impossible appeal

Enemies hide among the road and sow

If the mind wallows, one begins to feel

And has the choice to kill crumbling ideals

Lost in red thought, two enemies let flow

Bright blood down once calm and tranquil fields
