What turns a person into a writer? Could it be the inability to express oneself through other means? Could it be the desire to more richly describe the plight of all humanity through the exploration of a ficticious construct? Could it be a driving, overwhelming desire to be acknowleged as something more than just another boring, ordinary person? Or, perhaps, if the fates align just right, is it just a way for someone to kill time with nothing better to do.

My money is on the last one...

I write. I ramble. I have inane things to say. Perhaps, on rare occasion, I have something witty, or profound to express. It is those rare moments that true writers live for. Any day now, I'll have one of those moments. I just pray that I'm near the keyboard whrn it happens...
