Haha, well, this is a very old account. Let me just start by saying that. The oldest fics on here are beyond silly at points, from a time on FF.net where favs were measured by reviews and silly author rants in the body of the stories were common. My writing has improved a lot since then, as well as my plot choices (suicide attempts? *cringe*) and I'm even a published author now. (Of what? Ha! I'm not telling. Not with all my old fanfics on display. Oh hellz no.) However, I can't promise my sense of humor has normalized, and I definitely still adore rampant, dramatic romance, so you have been warned.

Also, whether you're a fellow writer or a kindred spirit in the form of an avid fanfiction reader, you're on this site and you're reading this... and I like you for that. Here's a poem. I didn't write it, but I look for it at times when the whole world feels sludgy and wrong, and days feel like failures because I haven't gotten where I want to be. Failure only happens when you give up, though, and maybe you'll read this poem too at a time when you need that very reminder:

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
