Nothing to see here, folks!

I am an avid HP fanfic reader going on a solid ten years of dedicated porny Potter love. I'm a lazy writer but devour stories as though it were my job. (It is not.) I'm partial to slash pairings featuring Harry; favorites include Harry with most well-known Slytherins (Draco, Severus, Lucius, Blaise, Theo), some Weasleys (Charlie, Bill, twins, Ron), and sometimes Kingsley or Neville. I'm rather convinced, apparently, that Harry is a bottom.. whether that's actually true or not is immaterial. The point is, sub/bottom!Harry is a must for me, and in a perfect world, he'd rarely even switch. The kinkier the better, as far as I'm concerned, unless it involves kids, animals, poop, and/or tentacles. Restraints, gags, collars and leashes, Yes Sirs and Masters and spankings and punishment make me oh so happy.

I'm always game for a good creature!fic but please leave the dogs, grims, hippogryphs, dragons, and snakes out when it comes to physical relationships. Hybrid types (magical beings, creatures, etc) always appreciated.

My favorite stories generally include BDSM, Sev/Harry/Draco (or any of the aforementioned), toys for them to play with, any amount of angst as long as it ends happily--I'm going through a no major character death phase in the wake of my father's death--and some trace of a plot. Every now and then I enjoy a trio fic, depending on the dynamics between Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I am usually wary of OCs, although I have to say, the ones written by Scioneeris in There Be Dragons, Harry and Starlight_Massacre in Rise of the Drackens are swiftly changing my opinion. Finally, while I enjoy a good Ron/Hermione/Ginny!bash now and then, I always end up liking a story more when there's an external villain. Bonus points if the Slytherins and Gryffindors all eventually end up friends with each other, in some way, shape, or form. Not dead set on it though--there's nothing like a good Voldie-won-and-the-good-guys-are-Death-Eater-pets plotline. ;)

All that aside, I want to throw a sincere thank you to all the authors who continue to dedicate their time and effort to entertaining the rest of us (but hopefully themselves as well) for absolutely no profit. It takes a lot more than most readers know or bother to think about, and so many who review only ask for faster updates and longer chapters with no regard for all the work that goes into it. So to you all, regardless of breadth or quality of work, thanks for sharing! We appreciate it!
