So, you may be wondering, what happened? Why hasn't WW&W been updated in FOREVER?

Allow me to explain. In the summer of 2005, my computer with all of my writing - every single one of my fanfics, original stories, notes, and rough drafts - died. I lost all those files forever. It was a big blow, and I stopped writing for a while because the thought of having to start all over again was too much for me to handle. I picked up writing again after several months, but in the time between I read a lot of things. I looked back at what I had written before - I looked back at WW&W - and I thought, oh, that's bad. That's really bad. I can't believe I wrote that way.

You see, I did something very foolish when I was writing it. I wrote it as I went, as opposed to writing it all at once and then posting. It became more important to me to put up some writing on a regular basis than to put up quality writing - there's lots of fillers in there, that I threw down because I needed something to fill a page so I could post a chapter, something which I definitely should not have done. Now I have a large chunk of stuff that needs to be taken down. The story needs to be removed and revised - and most definitely condensed - before I can even think of moving forward.

As of October 2006, I am in the process of revising all that's been written in WW&W. I have not, as of yet, decided whether I shall continue to write it as I go or whether I shall finish it all and then post it. Once I make that decision, I will post notice here and take appropriate action. Thank you for your patience, everyone. It means a lot to me.

Currently: A college freshman with absolutely no clue as to an intended major. I'm only just starting to get back into fanfiction; I left it for a while as you can see in the section above. For the moment I'm writing in the Harry Potter category. I'm a huge fan of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, and an even huger fan of Remus/Sirius slash. Someday I hope to put up some Naruto fanfic - in that fandom, I'm a huge fan of Kakashi and an even huger fan of Kakashi/Iruka slash - but at the moment I don't feel that I have an accurate enough grasp on the characters' ways of thinking to be able to write it well. I need to watch much more Naruto, first.
