 Author has written 1 story for Skins. Hi! :) I'm from the US (technically from the south, but let's ignore that bit, yes?) and spend most of my time obsessing over just about everything. I'm in my late twenties and am often reminded how old I am for this fandom. *sighs* Here for Skins (Gen 2) and my beloved Naomily. We won't even discuss Fire, 'kay? If anyone has some good fic recs, do let me know! xx, tinderbliss Things I can't live without: Tea, cozy blankets, Bette Davis movies, Windex, mascara, acoustic covers of pop songs and kissing. Sites I visit daily: FFn, YouTube, Tumblr, Retronaut, Twitter, HuffPost, BuzzFeed & Gmail - not necessarily in that order I am scared of: The dark, small places, birds, insects, drowning in a car, ghosts, inanimate objects suddenly becoming animated, the apocalypse and Republicans/Conservatives. Best advice I've been given: "Everyone has a story, you just have to listen," and "Always wear your good underwear." - both from my Mom and have been of equal importance! Favorite books: Anything by John Green, Lois Lowry or Madeleine L'Engle, Fall on Your Knees, His Dark Materials and OF COURSE the HP Series. What is the first thing you notice about someone: OMG, eyebrows - definitely eyebrows! I don't understand what people do to them, it's crazy. They should not resemble hooks, apostrophe's or shrimp. Last incoming text: 'grassy-ass' (from my sister) Last outgoing text: 'it's simple, she was overbaked. explains a lot really...' (well that doesn't make me sound very nice!) Favorite Skins pairings: Naomily, period. With maybe just the slightest caveat. So, I have this like super amazing ability to compartmentalize things. To me, Naomily is untouchable - like seriously and truly untouchable. Which is why I'm able to read (and enjoy) other pairings... because nothing and no one can take them away. Not even their creators. So reading a fic featuring other pairings is totally fine - I don't allow it to affect or color my image or experience of Naomily. I see it as just a bit of fun. With that being said, I also enjoy Keffy, Kaomi, Neffy & Nookie fics.
