Weeell... I'm a reader, not a writer. I made an account solely to write reviews for authors' stories. I read Harry Potter, Twilight, and sometimes Angel fan fiction. I don't really expect anyone to care to read this, but I'm a ridiculously picky reader. About 99% of the time, if a story has any of the following faults, I hit the back button asap. I won't read stories that aren't properly paragraphed when different characters speak. Different person talking = new paragraph!! Also, despite how nice/interesting life would be if men could become pregnant, it's a biological impossibility that I have no patience for. I'm slightly more lenient regarding grammar and spelling mistakes, but lots of either in a single story tends to annoy me as well. Those are just a few 'faults' that I personally don't tolerate. With my way-too-high standards, its a wonder I find any fan fiction to read at all. : P However, these are just my personal views. I'm not even an author myself, and I respect the fact that people can write whatever they want. So, in the end, who cares what I think? I'm just a single fan fiction reader among thousands. |
