They have a history of ignoring things, letting things die and honing methods of avoidance most shrinks would prescribe meds for. But this...this is something they can't just forget about. A fresh story because I'm kind of over writing 'Elliot left but came back' stories for a while. And what I came up with may be quite unexpected. Please read chapter 1, it's the best preview I can give you of this one.

Tried making it a one-shot but due to popular demand, it's a story. Takes place S 11 E 8 "Turmoil", when Dickie is being interrogated by Olivia about his friend Shane and Dickie asks her if she's ever slept with her partner. Elliot loses his temper several times and Alex Cabot is being investigated by the State Bar Association. Please leave a review, I enjoy them a lot!

Takes place right after "Her Negotiation" as Olivia is finally released from the hospital and done giving her official statement. I wish we would have been able to see more about how she acted and felt afterward. TRIGGER WARNING: There will be scene mentions of Olivia and Lewis from Beast's Obsession and Post-Mortem Blues.

For most of their lives, outside of work, Olivia Benson & Elliot stabler have been afraid to take certain risks, always doing what was "safe" & "expected." When the time comes to put all of themselves on the line, they realize that there are great consequences, but even greater rewards, that come with taking chances. EO AU STRONG M in later chapters.

Olivia has moved on since Elliot left, partnering with Nick Amaro. She hasn't forgotten about Elliot, despite how hard she's tried. And for Elliot, it's the same. They haven't been in touch, but someone from their past may drive them together.

"They told me you might be able to hear me so I want you to know I'm here. I don't know how this stuff works but I've heard about people in a coma that could hear everything so … I'm here Liv. We're not gonna give up on you. So you gotta hang in there too, okay?" Fin sighs and I can feel his sadness. I'm in a coma? First person story.

Olivia had watched as he beat the crap out of the punch bag, struggling to hold it still, scared to reach out to him, to try and ease his pain, so instead she hid behind the heavy bag struggling to keep up with his violent punches. *EO*

They haven't see each other since he left, now months later they are thrown together in an Undercover mission, as a married couple. What could go wrong. EO of course. Will be turning M rated in later Chapters.

Story set at the beginning of season 13, episode 15. Olivia takes David home for the first time, only to find someone waiting for her outside her apartment. Just when she thought she was going to move on, she is faced with a difficult choice. Or is it?

Elliot makes an appearance six years after he left, and he and Olivia work on repairing their friendship. I'm not going to give too much away, except to say it's S18ish, and Tuckson never happened.

This is a future fic, set about 18 years in the future. Olivia Benson has retired and her kids are officially adults now. She is still very much involved in their lives though. She tries to teach them to face life head on, so they won't have to look back later and regret what they didn't do, like she does ...

Season 12 episode, Bombshell the way it should have happened. EO.

Set at the beginning of S14, a newly divorced Elliot returns after a year absence and tries to explain himself to Olivia. She doesn't want to hear it and a rain filled argument ensues. They discuss the painful details of their past to see if they have a future. Rated M for language and sex.

The boundaries between Elliot and Olivia will be tested when a friend from Olivia's past shows up.

How could you just disappear? Why didn't you talk to me? How do you walk away like that and not even look back? You just left. You left me. You didn't even say goodbye. You broke my heart. Elliot returns, no one knows why, but what he has to say won't be easy to hear for Olivia.

My version of how season 18 should go. What happens when a tragedy brings Elliot back into Olivia's life? So much has changed for both of them. Can they ever get back what they once had?
