Like many of you I did not want the Harry Potter books to end, and was delighted to find Fan Fiction. As I read I noticed that many stories were started promising to cover the 19 years, but no one got close to finishing. So I started, and spent about two years roughing out a story covering the 19 years, along with a very rough second generation story. Then I started posting the story on another site, Harry Potter Fan Fiction, getting a lot of reads and a fair number of reviews. I want to welcome readers from that site. HPFF is no longer censoring me, but stories will be posted here first.

I have been playing in the Harry Potter universe since 2009. I want to thank a former Beta, FriendofMolly, who helped with most of the 19 years. I am looking for a British Beta.

Canon for me is the books. I may or may not use something from the movies. I also try and follow Rowling’s comments about the 19 years and the characters. Please let me know if you think anything I write violates canon.

I like Harry and the Weasley family. They have gone through some hard times, and will continue to have struggles, but I refuse to portray them as a dysfunctional family. That does not mean that all families in the Wizarding Community are nice.

The first four stories are:

“The First Year” covering a little more than a year, finished,
“Broomsticks and Bad Guys” covering Ginny’s Quidditch career, and Harry as they finally catch all of the remaining Death Eaters, finished.
“The Birth of the Potter Children” that ends with Lilly Luna as an infant, finished.
“Raising Albus,” which is focusing on the years of Albus Potter until he goes to Hogwarts, finished. I have covered the 19 years!!

As you see, the story moves from just Harry and Ginny to the next generation, and especially Albus. I have started on the Albus stories.

In addition to not seeing any 19 year stories I have not seen many with heroic next generation children. I’m trying to write one. Stay tuned.

We all owe a debt to Rowling for creating this fantastic universe we all are playing in, for readers and reviewers who make doing the work worthwhile, and to the site for giving us a place to do it.
