This begins in the aftermath of Basic Sandwich. I started writing this (a year ago!) when it became known that season 6 wouldn't begin until mid-March, and needed something to keep me busy. The title comes from the song "I Will Wait" by Mumford and Sons.

Emma really should have known better than to accept a gift from Captain Hook, especially a magical one. He really should have known better than to underestimate her. Captain Swan. Rated M for violence and later chapters.

A missing scene from "Regional Holiday Music", because I felt felt very uncomfortable with how the show portrayed Jeff and Annie deciding to join Glee Club at the end (suddenly and creepily, respectively). Set just after Annie's 'private performance' this is a hopefully more in-character explanation for why the two signed up. Also, very Jeff/Annie. I'm a shameless romantic sap.

The study group go on a ski weekend at the Dean's prodding. It ends up being a Greendale type of weekend.

Abed and friends celebrate his recent accolades of a short film by going to a bar. Confessions ensue...

After Annie is taken ill, it's up to Jeff to look after her.

Jeff picks Introductory Dodgeball as the group's latest blow off class, but his determination to breeze through is tested when he faces a familiar adversary.

After Annie moves in with Troy and Abed she starts to see a lot more of the rest of the study group, especially Jeff.

Annie is the one who tells Jeff their kiss in "Pascal's Triangle" meant nothing.

When right and wrong fail and black and white blur, all that is left between them is goodbye. Dark Damon/Elena with strong Stefan/Elena overtones. Be warned. Not really a happily ever after. M for language and adult content.
