My thoughts on how the Sole Survivor, Nate, and Piper develop feelings for each other. [My title and summary sucks]

There was no containing the scream of pain from Piper lips. The hit had severed most of the arm section of her armor but the claws only grazed her flesh. The impact however, might have dislocated the limb. It was hard to tell but what she did know was that it hurt like hell.

Piper was biting her lip so hard she was close to drawing blood. This was just too much watching the raiders fall all over each other with panic over one person. Part of her contemplated laughing in the raiders faces first chance she got to do so.

Piper eagerly awaits Nathaniel's return from the Institute, but when he does finally come back it is not in triumphant victory as she hoped. But even in complete darkness, lights can still shine.

Piper may not have thought much about being a mother before this, but somehow she knew this was at least partially what it was like to have children. And it was something Piper felt she could get used to.

At the apex of his victory against the Institute, Nathaniel has a special gift for his girlfriend.
