The conditions surrounding Seth Goddard's demotion don't add up. With hints of Sol System-wide corruption in the UPP and a conspiracy hitting close to home, how is he to make a difference when he is "grounded" as a teacher at the Starcademy on the outer rim? Of course things get even more complicated when his lifelong mentor asks a favor...

While T.J. Davenport had long suspected that the man who personified Space was a romantic at heart, she seemed to forget that her capable students were still children at heart. (A continuation of the "Challengers" 'verse)

A few "missing scenes" from throughout the series exploring the relationship between Davenport and Goddard. They like to push each other's buttons and never back down from a challenge. Rating changed to T to be on the safe side.

During Neinstein's governance, Seth realizes T.J. is kinda cool. Y'know, for a girl or whatever. And she doesn't think he's that bad either. You know, for a boy or whatever.

Getting acclimated to their new home was difficult enough without added worries, and certainly without ones like those experienced earlier that day: germ warfare and a young crewmember driven to insanity. In retrospect, a dance to celebrate being alive sounded absolutely perfect. D/G

For the second time that day, T.J. realizes that standing and waiting isn't enough to serve. An alternate ending to "On the Road to Find Out."

Davenport fails to consider what she should have learned earlier: scratching an itch only makes matters worse. (An *interesting* episode tag to "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Court" that is definitely not Y7.)

Davenport cursed her sleep-deprived mind for being unable to explain what possessed her to walk on autopilot to his door in the middle of the night. So instead, she asked one of the most loaded textbook questions usually reserved for job interviews: "Where do you see yourself in ten years?"

In which Davenport and Goddard end up in what appears to be a compromising position and Thelma makes things even more awkward by being the one to find them.

Spending her nights in Med Lab had become routine. T.J. slept fitfully in her quarters, worrying over the state of Commander Goddard's health, and being in close proximity to him while he was in the healing chamber put her mind at ease...or as "at ease" as T.J.'s mind could ever be.

The students' latest prank just might be the push T.J. and Seth need to get their acts together.

Suzee finally admits she doesn't know everything, and she and Miss Davenport try to have a heart-to-heart. Apparently offering reassurance is a social skill they both lack. (Het and slash pairings discussed. A take on the Harlan/Suzee/Radu love triangle.)

Davenport and Goddard have a lot to discuss. In the meantime, they're just doing the best they can. A missing scene from "A Friend In Need."
