![]() Author has written 4 stories for Rise of the Guardians, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. I'm a fangirl, emotionally invested in too many things. My number one obsession in the entire world is Phantom of the Opera. It is my life, and my love. I don't mean 2004 film. That's actually crap. I mean everything. Films 1925, 1943, 1962, 1989, 1998, 2004 and the 2010 25th Anniversary, the ALW stage show... Books, Leroux, Kay, Forsyth... those are just the well known ones. There are others that are lesser known I enjoy learning about as well NOTE: This does mean I like ALL of these version. Quite a few actually royally suck out there! Favorites though: 1925 and Stage show. I also love Sherlock and Doctor Who. I love Jim Henson's Labyrinth, and I love Once Upon A Time. And there are a whole slew of other movies I like. And yes I love Disney. I like 80s music and symphonic metal (those are my favorites). I have a sentimental connection to Bon Jovi. Feel free to ask about it! I do consider myself a fond lover of things that are in England or are English but refuse to call myself an Anglophile because of the controversy linked to it. At first I was annoyed people could not just let people like customs but then it occurred to me that "Anglophiles" really do know NOTHING about England and make it out to be this magical place free of problems and know nothing about the geography and only get their info from stereotypes and Hollywood films and just like the BBC and its characters. But honestly, I'm not perfect either. I have some stereotypical views of England myself and I am working on it. I am not a vat of knowledge either. I lived in England for four months but that only gave me a smidgen of what its life, and I lived in the North. But in defense I would also like to say that the things I liked about England were either better than in America, you couldn't find them in America (or my region of America) or we just didn't have it at all. Plus the scenery is gorgeous, nothing like home, and as a history buff, I do prefer a country with thousands of years of history preferred to America which has only like... 500. Enough rambling. I am a writer and I do write fanfiction. However I have accepted the fact very little fanfiction will ever be posted on here, and this is simply an account for me to use to read, follow, and favorite stuff. Why do I post very little fanfiction? Because I recognize my fanfiction is crap and I write it for my own interests only and no one else's and I am embarrassed to say how self centered my interests are. It's selfish and it's crap. My fanfiction is never really written for anyone's enjoyment but my own. My original works, however, are a different story. I write my fanfictions to get it out of my head and practice my writing and feed my inner fangirl but that is all. I hope you'll like me anyway :/ Occasionally I will post some but I will tell you it won't be often I post stories. The one fanfic I have I had it all written and planned out. It was 400 pages. It was never meant to be put on here. But my friend forced me and then wouldn;t let me put up til she edited it. Which is fine, but she never got to... editing anything but these five chapters. And then I would have rebelled and put them up without her editing because I hate leaving people hanging but... I lost my... file. It was... on a flash... drive and...the University... never found it. roseofphantom.tumblr.com Follow if you feel so inclined. Or not. It's your life, choose how you will. |
