To become a dialysis professional, you must have at least a high school diploma. As a good base to preparing for a career in dialysis you can take more science classes if you are able to. You then need to get accreditation from a state-supported program at a college, university, hospital or technical university. As a dialysis tech you will need to know the how to set up and operate the various dialysis equipment.
