I haven't been into writing fanfiction in years (You register as an English major in college and suddenly find that you have no time to write anymore! Strange the way the world works, eh?) and I stopped reading it entirely when I got into college and realized that a majority of it was poorly written and ridiculously nonsensical. It wasn't until very recently that I came across a few gems (see faves) that renewed my faith in well-written fanfiction, and now I'm hooked again!

I love to offer helpful critique when I can, but my best praise is reserved for writers who can make their story work and still stay true to the characters they portray; that takes real work and dedication!
