![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Hello! I'm LeoJackPeter, and welcome to my profile! As you can see, I am fairly new to posting stories, of which I will say the following-- I have been reading fanfiction for years, but never could summon the courage to write any. I recently changed that, because I decided if I couldn't find the specific fanfic I wanted, I would have to write it myself. However, I have never written any stories for others since I was...14? And I do not have a beta, so there will be some problems. Problems may include: grammar mistakes (only slightly), overused clichés (more on this below), stiff plot-line (feel free to tell me this in a constructive manner), OOC character (below), or accidental use of similar plot-lines (also below). Overused clichés: If I write a story of say, time travel, I honestly don't care that it is overused. Personally, I know from experience that I will find a theme I enjoy and try to find other fanfics with similar ideas. I figure someone else has the same thoughts, and so I write what pops in my head. If I use too many however, and it ruins the whole story, I would like to know. OOC Character:If you have concerns my interpretation of a character is too off, or you had to leave because something made you say, "Nope," feel free to say so. Please don't flame me, but telling me helps me figure out where I might have gone wrong. That being said, I will try to remember to mention if a character is off on purpose, so everyone is prepared. Similar plot-lines: If anyone notices my story looks suspiciously like someone else's story, there are probably 2 reasons for this: 1. I read it a long time ago, and the idea (but not who or what) stuck with me or 2. I have a popular idea. However, if it is a little too close, I will either delete, change the plot/etc, or message the author if available. I have a lot of ideas, most of these for the Harry Potter universe. On the chapters (prologue at least), I plan on mentioning: disclaimer, warnings (basic warnings for now), welcoming reviews, and possibly an endorsement for a different story that I enjoyed along with a summary, depending on the author's thoughts. PMs: I have never used this, but if you would rather use this than review, feel free! I might not respond to reviews (depending on how many), so a greater chance of an answer is through this. Stories: To Change Destiny: Okay I know I just started this but damn. It's harder than I thought to start an actual story. So sorry, but this won't update regularly at all.Well, that should be it! Happy reading, and don't be afraid to review! --LJP |
