Hi then. Nope, not a fanfiction writer, not me. Okay, not yet anyway. Or in the near future. I had sworn an oath to never let myself be lured into a) reading fanfiction, or b)even worse, writing fanfiction. But here I am, a dedicated fan of LotR fics and hesitantly planning one of my own. sigh. But hey, no one's perfect. Since I haven't actually written a single fic, there is propably no point in writing this bio either. But because ff.net has become one of my favourite haunts this past year, I feel like I should leave some kind of mark of my excistance here. Silly, I know, but there's also the question of doing the courtesy of not hiding behind anonymity when reviewing a fic. (Even if a nicname isn't that much less anonymous...) And, well, I was of course excited to finally get to do a "favorite authors" and a "favourite stories" -list of my own...:) (neither of which, btw, is ready) Well, I can't talk about what I write, for obvious reasons, but I can talk about what I read, should anyone for some peculiar reason care. I read mostly hobbit fanfiction. GOOD hobbit fanfiction. That's the absolute main criterion. There's so much BAD fiction floating around the web, that finding enertaining, thoughtful, believable and not mushy fanfiction (that isn't slash)has become quite a full-time job for me. Umm, hi again. It's been AGES since I wrote that, so I'll just add that I do read other fandoms nowadays: Star Wars first and foremost and as a new thing, Batman.
