Hello there, as you can see, my pen name is theotakureader101. It was a name thought up 3 years back when I thought putting numbers in your username was cool unironically. The memory now proceeds to burn a hole in my soul each time I think about it.

Anyway, past mistakes aside, welcome to my profile. Let me tell ya when I first found this site I thought it was a land of wonder. I would read any story no matter the quality and I would think it was a masterpiece as long as it gave me feels. Obviously I was simply a casual scrub back then, and after taking a break for about two years from writing, I have now returned as an even bigger cynical asshole who doesn't know how to just turn his brain off and try to have fun with a story.

Of course, my opinions of fanfiction itself has changed as well. I'm a Highschool DxD fanfiction writer and I'm definitely pretty ashamed to admit that. Could you blame me, honestly? A large portion of the writers in this fandoms are just a bunch of horny idiots who seem to just write it to carry out their own stupid wish fulfillment fantasy through an OC in a show about a bunch of hot devil chicks. I mean seriously, I know everyone's entitled to their own tastes, but I honestly don't understand it. How do you manage to find ANY sort of joy from writing a story about an edgy, one dimensional gary stu douchebag who conquers any problem without so much as breaking a sweat. That is what the fandom has devolved into. It's no longer trying to tell a better story than the original, it's just about overpowered assholes showing off so they can jerk off to their stupid fantasies. And don't even get me started on those naruto inserts.

This is probably a case of the pot calling the kettle black as my stories in the past weren't that great in the first place. However, that's the whole point of self-improvement, right? Which is what I have set out to do with my new story "Highschool DxD: Life As A Devil." Check it out. It's not the greatest piece of literature you'll ever find, but I'm confident enough to say that it'll definitely be more interesting than those overpowered OC inserts that are just blatant harem wish fulfillment by virgins.
