Ruby, just like many other transwomen(along with transmen and non-binary people), just wants to feel like she is safe and right within this giant, sometimes terrible, world. Sometimes you just need help to do that even if you find it in simple ways. (Also, just warning about there being a small mention of violence against the trans character. It's not graphic though.)

What if the RWBY girls and their friends got their abilities from a series of tests, rather than being born with them? Futuristic AU with mostly White Rose and Bumblebee. Other pairings will be included as well. I don't own any of the RWBY content, just my ideas for the story. Rated T for now unless I decide to get brave. In this world, soulmates can't hurt each other, intentionally or non-intentionally, so when Ruby is sent to assassinate Weiss, things don't go quite as planned. Now they have to work together to make sure that they can both get out of this situation alive, and maybe realize why the world decided that they were meant for each other. Possible smut in later chapters. Whiterose.

Knives aren't often associated with good things. They are used to do bad things, either to ourselves, or to others. But Ruby couldn't help the fact that those sharp, dangerous objects were her lucky harms. They just seemed to guide her through life. (Not a psycho story, don't worry!)

Queen Bee thought she was the only one visiting Marinette Dupain-Cheng at night. Honestly, the real miracle is how long it took to run into her teammates when THEY were visiting Marinette.
