I like fanfic stories about relationships. Especially father/son relationships. I believe all things in life revolve around relationships. Whether it's between you and your maker or you and your goldfish.

I believe love really does cover a multitude of sin and nothing is stronger than love.

I believe that love without discipline is unhealthy and unsafe since it breeds selfishness among other things.

I believe this life is not all about you. We are all part of something bigger. I find satisfaction and comfort in that.

I believe I shouldn't judge anyone since I have my own issues to deal with and I don't need to add more things onto my plate.

I believe prayers really are heard and that there is an almighty force out there watching over us, loving us in ways we can't understand.

Having said all this, I want to clarify that I don't believe spanking for anything works. It is only in specific and few cases that it is effective. Positive reinforcement is the best tool to use. It makes kids feel good about themselves and safe around their parents, as they should be, making them want to please you. But, that doesn't mean they should be allowed to do what they want, running rampant. You need to have a backbone and tell them what you expect of them, and if they don't comply there is a consequence. Otherwise not only will you suffer, but they will too. All this needs to be done with love.
