In an attempt to protect his son, Stoick concocts a plan that winds up hurting Hiccup worse than the young Viking would have ever imagined possible. His wounds are so great that he tries to end his life, but recovering from a suicide attempt is only half of Hiccup's battle. Now he has to learn to trust his family and friends again. Two adults named Hiccup and Astrid are famous YouTubers who started off unknown but continued big. The last time Hiccup got Eel Pox was when he was seven years old, so coming down sick one morning at Dragon's Edge is a rude surprise.

He was gone. Just like that. Without his flying suit, without Astrid, and without Toothless. Soon, strange occurrences begin to take place during his disappearance. When he shows up on Berk a year later, he's changed and everyone notices it–even Toothless. The way he talked, the way he stood, the way he acted, and even the way he looked. Nothing was the same and he wasn't either.

Toothless is banished from Berk. Thanks to Snotlout's prank. Hiccup decides to run off with Toothless for the weekend to let Stoick cool off. Along the way, Toothless and Hiccup find a remarkable discovery after venturing in to unchartted territory. (Currently being Revised!)

There are many ideas about what would happen if Hiccup had run away with Toothless. Most are more based on the hearts desires instead of what would have most likely would happen. AU Hiccup and Astrid run away after the incident in the arena with the Monstrous Nightmare and end up building their own village but when Berk find out and pays a visit how will Hiccup cope with seeing his father again.
