Magnus is a vampire hybrid. Alec is a human. Their worlds couldn't be any more different. For sixteen years, their paths didn't cross once, but when a case they're both working on brings them together, suddenly they keep bumping into each other. Magnus has known Alec his whole life, but Alec only sees Magnus now. He doesn't know they've been intertwined ever since he was a child.

Malec orphanage AU: Magnus has lived there since he'd been nine years old, and now one year before he has to leave the Institute, a new kid comes along. Alec Lightwood hates orphanages, hates foster families. He just wants to be left alone with his anger at the world. Two worlds clash like thunder and lightning and both guys are in for an interesting year.

Normally, when the epitome of evil has big plans for you, you should run away screaming in the other direction, but Alec might just like these plans. Besides, who said the most evil creature in the universe hadn't been redeemed?

This is just a selection of short smut-things. Often just without plot as I am simply trying to get more comfortable with writing those scenes in general.  (Please no hate, these are my first attempts and I'm working on getting better/ generally not edited)

Alec doesn't have the best life, he was raised in a violent orphanage and is now re-contemplating suicide. How will Magnus handle this? More importantly, how will Alec?
