But things get strange quickly... a lost boy, whispers in the hall, secret diaries, and a legend that Hiccup Haddock is the haunting demon... A Hiccstrid story.

Modern AU. All of his life, Hiccup's been the runt of the lot. He's bullied, has a useless crush on Astrid Hofferson - the most popular girl in the school -, his father couldn't care less about him, and his mother is the only one who truly cares. Life seems to be at its worst when the car crash comes. But after that, absolutely everything changes.

Wild West AU. Hiccup becomes an outcast at age fifteen for being weak, a horrible gunslinger, and an all around klutz. Three years later, and although Hiccup's no longer the little boy he used to be, he still can't shoot straight to save his life. But when Hiccup accidentally ropes the famed wild mustang "The Night Fury", how will this untamable beast change Hiccup's fate?

What do you do when the world moves on without you? How do you cope when those you know have travelled far ahead of you, or have faded away entirely? After encountering a strange, inexplicable island, Snotlout must find answers to those very questions. Though it seems no more than a moment, that moment lasted fifteen years and a lot can change in fifteen years. AU.

Three years later, Berk is beset by dragon raids and hostile tribes while the boy who should have saved the island is merely the assistant in the forge. Hiccup and Snotlout's lives took a very different path, survival forcing them closer together than they might ever have been. Protecting and supporting each other, they endured for years until they could finally make the journey home. AU.

After returning to Berk from rescuing Hiccup from the Bounty Hunters, the riders think everything will return to somewhat normal life. But when Hiccup goes missing again, not three days after his first capture, Astrid, Gobber, and Stoick set out to find Hiccup yet again, while the other riders stay behind to take care of Berk. 'Hiccup pressed his palm against Toothless's forehead and allowed a tired smile. "I'll see you in Valhalla, buddy."' An elderly Hiccup is diagnosed with a terminal illness and is quickly losing hope in survival. Toothless has a plan - but will it save his rider in the end? One-shot.

During Hiccup and Valka's stay in the Dragon Sanctuary, Hiccup finally confronts his mother on why she never came back to Berk after all these years. One-shot.

When one year-old Hiccup demands a lullaby, his father is not so sure that he can comply. One-shot.

Set in RTTE. When Toothless gets the hiccups for the first time ever, he refuses to be around the other dragons. Hiccup tries to help, but Toothless isn't the most obedient dragon at times... One-shot.

When Astrid wakes up to find a rose in her window, she has her suspicions of who it came from. One-shot.

Pre-movie. One day on Berk, Astrid comes to the forge to get her axe fixed. A bashful Hiccup watches and notices exactly how much she loves her weapon, and he creates a nickname for her in the spur of the moment. However, everyone knows keeping things from Astrid never ends well... Hiccstrid. One-shot.

RTTE timezone. An accident leaves Hiccup injured, but brings him even closer to his dragon. When disaster strikes, can he do as he was told and just watch from the sidelines?

After a near run-in with death, Maui decides it's time for Moana and him to head back to Motunui. However, their journey is interrupted when a giant bird abducts Moana and takes her back to its nest. Can Maui save her this time, or will he be too late?

MODERN AU. An add in the newspaper with the headline "DRUMMER WANTED!" catches Hiccup's attention, and he answers the call, meeting up with the more-or-less mentally disturbed members of The Dragon's Edge. Even though they're as strange as strange gets, Hiccup finds himself at home.

Modern AU/Hiccstrid. For as long as she has worked at the Diner, the auburn-haired guy has been coming in, regular as clockwork. One day he stops coming. When he returns, something is different...and Astrid watches him struggle with a broken heart and a series of unsuitable dates. Can she help?

Hiccup and Astrid are happily married, and life couldn't be better. But then all the dragons start leaving, and Hiccup falls ill. Astrid starts losing hope when Hiccup says he'll die when the last dragon flies away, but perhaps there is a way to fight the inevitable. Post HTTYD 2, loosely based on O. Henry's short story 'The Last Leaf'.
