This was a short story I wrote as an origin for my first D&D character. Since he is a warlock I knew it should be dark but I didn't want my character to be the typical power-hungry sort. So I tried to find a way to have him be desperate enough to make a deal with a demon, but still potentially be honorable. I hope you enjoy it.
