An alternate ending to Mockingjay. I didn't like who Katniss ended up with, so I just decided to re-write it. Spoils the very end! This takes place about a month after she's been sent back to District Twelve.

Katniss realizes that Gale was there all along, and she needs him now more than ever. AE for Mockingjay. Mature content, rated M.

What if Katniss had slipped out to find Gale after the banquet at Mayor Undersee's instead of waiting a couple of weeks to meet Gale at the cabin? Fanservice ensues. This is an AU Catching Fire scenario. K/G

This is how I choose to end Mockingjay. I mainly wrote this for myself because I was so disappointed with how the book ended. I decided to share.

Oneshot, GaleKatniss/ When she starts to sing, he stares. He knows everything about her, he could write a book about Katniss freaking Everdeen, but he's never heard her sing. It's incredibly beautiful. He loves her so much it hurts.

She's in pieces when he finds her. She's nothing if not beautiful even when she's laying in an almost artistically broken way.
