Um... Hi?

I'm not comfortable putting my real name online, but my friends sometimes call me Hotaru, both with the original meaning of "firefly" and the character of Sailor Saturn from Sailor Moon behind it, so I'm going to use that as my online alias. I would love to one day write a fic, however, plot bunnies seem to be in short supply around these parts. Feel free to donate if you have any lying around!

I'm currently studying to get into med school, and I want to become a doctor. Wish me luck!

I’m a huge fan of FFVII, but while Zangeal is my OTP and owns my heart, Clack, Sephisis, Clefiroth, Zaerith, and many other pairings all float my boat. In addition, this is the only fandom with such an awesome OT5. Final Fantasy X was a good one, but I didn't really feel any of the pairings except Tidus/Yuna, and a bit of Auron/Rikku. FFXII was an unexpected gem, and Larsa/Penelo is just about the sweetest thing ever. It gives me cavities in the best way. FFVIII was a fun game, but I love Seifer/Squall and Irvine/Selphie, while hating anything to do with Rinoa and generally feeling disappointed with Quistis. All the MegaTen games I have ever played have been awesome, but Persona 3 and Devil Summoner are my favorites.

Anime/manga I like: Kyou Kara Maou, Loveless, Death Note, Gakuen Heaven, Sukisho!!, Junjou Romantica, Full Metal Alchemist, Sailor Moon, Full Moon wo Sagashite (my guilty shojo pleasure), Nabari no Ou, Naruto and Bleach (although they both drag somewhat...) Natsume Yujincho, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shiteru (also known as UraBoku), Only the Ring Finger Knows, Tokyo Babylon and X/1999 (cries), Tsubasa Chronicle and xxxHolic, Legal Drug, RG Veda, HikaGo, Code Geass, Death Note and many more. Wow, looking at that list makes me both proud and ashamed of myself simultaneously.

T.V.: Glee (OhmygoshKlaineneedtogetmarriedandbeendgame), Supernatural (Profound bond FTW), CSI, Criminal Minds and Maury (I know, but the faces and accents and clothes are so entertaining! Gosh, I didn't think people like that actually existed!)

Music: NewS, Nightmare, D’espairsRay, Gackt, Malice Mizer, Dir en Gray, Linkin Park, Moi dix moi, Green Day, Paramore and Papa Roach.

Favourite things: Long books, staying at home, watching anime, reading manga, listening to music, reading, writing (none of which I’m confident enough about to post...) and daydreaming. I also love learning new things, and a good debate.

I live in the Emerald Isle, so I was raised spelling things the English way. Those extra letters are meant to be there, honest! However, all constructive criticism is more then welcome!
