Want to be: I did want me to be in the military (a medic), but my parents didn't really like that idea. So, i plan to be an ER doctor.

Favorite Colors: I prefer very dark colors, maybe a midnight blue or a deep red (definitely black). Some nature-y colors. I also like sky blue and a very soft pink.

Simple Facts:

I plan to be in college till I date. I want to understand myself better before I can look for other people that is fit for me.

I'm a Vietnamese-American. My dad escaped during the VN war by boat and my mom didn't come to America till she met my dad.

I've been playing piano for nine years. I'm okay, most people say it's my talent but i don't think so. I don't even practice much.

I have a habit of collecting quotes. Quotes that pretty much describe what my values or feelings are.

My favorite books/TV shows: Law and Order SVU, Grantchester, Harry Potter, Criminal Minds, White Collar

I don't watch TV much, but if i'm bored and find something REALLY interesting, i would be addicted to it really quickly.

Don't hurt me, but i've never watched/read Anime or manga before. I've glanced through them once or twice, but i've never really had an interest in them. My classmates are really surprised when I tell them that, and I always feel ashamed for saying that, like it's my fault or something (which, technically, it is).

I've never had an interest in music till i think, 2014. The years before I've only know Vietnamese kid music and the baby English songs (such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc.) In 2014, I felt left out from my classmates/groups (I didn't have many friends, just acquaintances) and i've made it my mission to find songs that have my attention. I would ask the name of the song i think i like, and i listen to it. i also created a Pandora because (here i quote my cousin), "If you want to know songs, you create a pandora. Pandora is a step towards the radio."

I just realized this year that when i listen to my fav songs I also have to know the artists... I didn't know any of the most popular artists of this generation (like Drake or Beyonce or Nick Jonas) and my classmates say i live under a rock. Well my family is not the type of family who listens to music whenever they're in the car, so i think that's why i was so isolated from those things.

A teenage girl around the age of seventeen named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening, and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her.

She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."
