![]() Hello. You've reached the profile page belonging to Skiddles. What could be said about her? Other than her love for her family and friends (and reading and writing obviously- especially literary classics), she loves to laugh. To her, laughter is a universal language shared between all people, and there have been times where soul-deep meanings and life lessons have been employed through the uses of parodies, satires and good ole fashioned gentle humor. That being said, Skiddles strives to try her hand in a variety of literary genres, not just humor, to encompass the entire spectrum of the Human experience. (Humor just happens to be her favorite among them.) Skiddles does not proclaim to be a literary genius; nor a writer of remarkable talent. What she does work on, however, she enjoys so it makes the transitions of her thoughts to paper less taxing. When she isn't writing a story to post (though she's always writing and reading in the general sense to expand her horizons), she loves to read stories on this site, stories of all genres, and to review them. Having a good eye for punctuation and grammar is important to her; and she loves to give feedback whenever she can. She is also extremely thrilled to hear from others, and certainly wouldn't mind hearing from you! :Inspirations: Some of the writers/people that have had profound influence on Skiddles: Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Edgar Allan Poe, J.R.R Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Monty Python, George Carlin, Stephen Colbert, Oscar Wilde, Matthew Stover, Ernest Hemingway, Friedrich Nietzsche, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Joe Rogan, Terence McKenna, and Lois Lowry...
