Author has written 4 stories for Lord of the Rings, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Tsubasa Chronicle. Special News Bulletin! Scarg was formerly known as Lollipop O' Doom, or L.O'D. who was, in turn, formerly known as Leaglen. If you came across her under either of those names, please don't hold their actions against her! She's not quite as strange as she used to be. Er... Hi, I guess. This thing's a bio, eh? Right... clears throat in awkward silence Let's start with the basics, shall we, class? My name's Elise. I'm pretty new to writing fanfiction, but I've been reading it for quite some time now. I recommend Thundera Tiger, The Noble Platypus, and Camilla Sandman in particular. I like a lot of things, but here's an abridged list. I like playing piano, music of all types (but not twelve-tone. shudders), the Protectors of Plot Continuum, drawing, funny movies, writing, reading, Burt Campbell's spaceship noise, Monty Python, and fencing! I placed third in my age group in Nationals this year! does a little dance I don't like Mary Sues, mini-balrog creations, bad punctuation, George Dubya Bush, bad spelling, bad grammar, metronomes, homophobia, flames (even if the flamer has a point, that's no reason to be rude), arrogance, chatsp33k, false humility, and cocktail sauce. But I have trouble remembering the last one, so at pretty much every chance, I re-try it. So far, it disgusts me every time... Whew. wipes brow Well, I hope that gives you a general idea of me. If you are so inclined, please check out my MSTs at the homepage listed above. Someday soon (hopefully before the year 2525) my PPC spin-off will be joining their ranks. The actual site construction is terrible, so if you go, pay no heed to the amateur layout. Speaking (typing?) of websites, there are many, many sites that I waste my time at, so here's an abridged list. Here's to hoping I don't incur the wrath of any of the below webmasters...: is one of the best LOTR MST sites out there. Power to Al's Waiter! (even though he doesn't update nearly frequently enough) This is Camilla Sandman's site. Suedom is one of the best fics I've ever had the pleasure of reading, so kudos to its authors, not to mention that this is the site that houses the Protectors of Plot Continuum, an orginization that has grown, ameoba-like, for quite some time now. Power to the PPC! grins -- the Weight Watchers cards are truly squicksome. Have a look-see, and please don't blame me if you spray your chocolate milk all over your keyboard. -- if ff.net starts to bother one, one may feel free to check out this site. It's a home of good quality Lord of the Rings fanfiction, and is less fangirl-orientated than ff.net. -- if you need some lyrics to a song, chances are they're here. is the PPC Posting Board, where some truly funny and amazing people may be found. Oh yeah, they're also brilliant writers. is fantastic webcomic. So, so funny. is another great webcomic. I advise reading it more or less in one go--going update by update can be a little bewildering. The plot is intriguing, the artwork gorgeous. rocks my socks. If you don't know what the Girl's Bike Club is, then you are missing out on something beautiful. snorks Also, there's a regular update schedule, so one doesn't need to check back at semi-obsessive intervals to see if there's been something new added. Well, I believe I'll stop bothering you. If you want to give me a shout, please do so. I don't bite! Actually, that's a lie, but I probably won't bite, if you type nicely. smiles WORKS IN PROGRESS: A Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle 'fic. This is going to be interesting. winks I haven't actually done a big, multi-chapter epic yet. I've got most of the skeleton of the story done, and have started fleshing out the actual first draft. I may even start posting it before 2006, if I'm uncharacteristically fast in writing. Another TRC fanfic, just because I'm going on a bit of a binge right now. Actually, this one may be up very, very soon. I'm practically done--it's just a drabble, featuring older!Fai and some random barkeep. It's a wee bit AU just because it takes place in the distant future (or at least a distant future to somebody who hasn't read past Vol. 6). Yet another one-shot involving Elves, this time from a Dwarf's standpoint. Lessee, I've written on the subject of Elves from the point of view of a hobbit, a man, and now a dwarf... I need to get some more original ideas... It will be done very soon (in fact, it may already be done) but I would like to get it beta-read by my luvverly sister before I post it. My PPC spin-off, which actually isn't in progress anymore (I'm done! Huzzah!) but I still need permission from Artemis to use a character or two. I'm starting to suspect she's dead, though, since I sent her an e-mail before Christmas, and a few since then, to no avail. Disturbing. On the other hand, I've now written an alternative version, in which her characters do not make an appearance. This may be used instead, if I don't get permission before my birthday. Why my birthday, you ask? Because, gentle reader, it's one of the few days of the year I actually think I can remember without tattooing it on my hand. A Cardcaptors fic: This is coming along very slowly, as it's dead last in my writing priorities. It's an AU type thing; Sakura fails the final judgement, and the Key of Clow comes to a new master,a very young boy named Kodi. But Sakura and Li aren't willing to give up their destinies so easily... cue dramatic music and corny poses. Yeah, I'll eventually post it... Eventually. |
