Bonjour!

Welcome to my profile page. I've only just begun to summon up the courage to post on this site, but I've spent a great deal of time exploring what FF has to offer. There are so many talented people out there! And I'm sure you're one of them. It's a pleasure to cybernetically meet you.

I've been writing stories for myself since I was old enough to put thoughts onto paper, my very first story being an alternative ending to an episode of 'The Animals of Farthing Wood' at the tender age of eight. It wasn't exactly Shakespeare, I'll admit, but that was just the first stepping stone on a long and wonderful journey for me, and now I've finally found a place where I can post my own work and enjoy mankind's flare for written creativity. Ah, fanfiction...where have you been all my life?!

Although I'll soon be turning twenty (eek!), I still find kids' films and TV shows thoroughly entertaining. There's something about the "happily ever after"/"light defeats darkness"/"we can all be friends" themes that I simply can't get enough of. Kids shows are a haven, of sorts, from the stress of university life. And the addiction is spreading - my flatmates are now as passionate about Disney films as I am.

I don't try to pretend that my works of fiction are worthy of any awards, but I'm fairly confident that they're written well enough to appease the grammar Nazis out there. I'm an English Lit nerd, so I tend to know my stuff as far as creative writing is concerned. Having said that, I eagerly accept constructive criticism, so don't hesitate to drop me a line if you feel there's something a could improve!
