Why Tempest was taken down:

I’m finally starting to work on the rewrite, which I intend for publication. To be honest, I started work on it last year and then I just stopped, and getting back into it has been…difficult. Pulling Tempest off FFN is a psychological thing for me, really, because having it there was sort of preventing me from working on it, if that makes sense–like there’s already a complete version of it out there. And I’d have to take it down eventually, if I really do publish, so why not now? I figured that the fandom has slowed enough that it wouldn’t really be noticed, and there wouldn’t be many ~new readers~ missing out or what not.

But, there is an archived version of it on the Elsanna Reddit, if you’re interested in that (or, as some people unfortunately were, in the middle of reading). I won’t link it, so you’ll have to put in a little work to find it :P That was another part of my reasoning in not requesting its deletion there–I like the idea that it’s not completely gone (not that it would be anyway, I know people saved copies…), and that if you know about it, you can find it–but it’s not publicly available.

Thank you again for your support, readership, and reviews :) Before deletion, I did save every single one of the reviews, so know that I’ll be poring over them as I revise!

Sometimes I notice fanfiction and fandoms in general have this unspoken rule of "Assume female unless said otherwise." So, yes, I am male. Just clearing that up.

Interests (Fandoms): Danganronpa, Tokyo Ghoul, Frozen, Yugioh, Kpop (T-ara, Afterschool, Hello Venus, AoA, Red Velvet), Wuxia, Anime/Manga (Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Hetalia Axis Powers), Final Fantasy (VI, VII, VIII, X, XIII), Mercedes Lackey's Obsidian Trilogy, Jonathon Shroud's Bartimaeus Series, C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia, and, of course, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.

I'm someone who likes to read and write stories with thematic significance. Typically, my subject matter revolves around the search for identity and purpose, and very often, the feelings of isolation and frustration; the conflict between rationality and irrationality; the clash between binary opposition and duality.

I'm fond of Gothic and Absurdist literature, as well as high fantasy and science fiction. My favorite authors include Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, Charlotte Bronte, Mary and Percy Shelley, Bram Stoker, and also CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, Madeleine L'Engle, Norton Juster, Jonathan Stroud, and Mercedes Lackey. I'm also (somewhat) learned in Celtic and Middle English literature.

And many, many more things that don't immediately come to mind.
