Starting a few days after the end of Episode 5, Max and Chloe venture forth into their new life together. Much cuddling ensues. Mainly fluff, but with loose story arcs tying things together, and pretensions at character development. Begun long before BTS was released, and so now conflicts with some aspects of the canon.

After Max made the hardest decision she would ever make, she is haunted by regrets and the ghost of a girl who was quite simply no longer there. [Pricefield ftw, NSFW, smut] Story picks up at the end of Episode 3 after Chloe and Max have a heated argument in Chloe's truck. Some angst, some sweetness, and a lot of self-questioning. (Edit: and some plot yo)

There, she discovers where she went wrong, her true purpose, and goes back seven months to send her younger self on a journey to save both Chloe and Rachel.

Can Max find a way to get through to Chloe without everything they shared during that week and without her power? My take on the "hospital ending" Where Max saves Chloe and Arcadia Bay but Chloe isn't the same Chloe on the cliff. Max realizes that there are things she still needs to deal with and fix in this new timeline while finding some unexpected changes as well.

Max was determined to save everyone, regardless of what happened to her. If she needs to suffer to save everything precious to her, so be it. In the wake of the Prescott family's downfall and the controversies at school mounting, Blackwell closed under pressure from both parents and Arcadia Bay's citizens. Nobody at Blackwell knows what happened that night during the End of the World party. Nobody knows anything except that Max hasn't been seen or spoken to since.

((DARK ROOM SPOILERS)) This was becoming a common occurrence for her. Night after night, for almost 2 months, she would have a new nightmare that seemed all too real. And they all involved her best friend being killed or tortured. Every one of her dreams ended with her crying herself back to sleep- back into another nightmare.

Max's new "super power" has allowed her to become Chloe's new personal saviour. But it wasn't until Max rescued Chloe a third time from another brush with death that Chloe started to realize that having a guardian angel isn't exactly so easy for the angel.
