Welcome to my profile page! Here it's always a cool Saturday afternoon in Spring on the front verandah. Good job on finding it. Have a cookie.

Leesy smiled at her guest warmly, proffering a plate of freshly made lime macarons. "Okay, so perhaps they're not strictly cookies...but we won't let that get in the way of a good Author's Note trope, will we?" She laughed heartily, a little louder than would usually be considered ladylike, but genuine. It was endearing. She sat back on the big, cushion covered sofa and gestured to her visitor to do likewise as she crossed her legs. In front of her was an antique coffee table, covered in pieces of paper with notes and drawings scribbled on them, a pile or two of dog-eared books, a laptop, the large plate covered with the previously offered macarons and all the required bits and pieces for making a good cup of tea. On the bookshelf next to the front door lay one singular manuscript.

So, yes. It's nice to have you here. You may have noticed the lack of written works, and the explanation for that one is pretty simple.

The young Australian absent-mindedly pulled her long brown hair into a scrappy looking bun on top of her head as she spoke. "When I first signed up here," she gestured around her whitewashed porch and out into the garden surrounding it and the Fanverse beyond in general, "I was fourteen and desperately in love with Jack Sparrow. I wrote some terrible, terrible fluff." She blushed a little, pausing as she pushed her thick rimmed glasses up the bridge of her nose. "I deleted it out of embarrassment a few years later. Would you like some tea?" She prepared her already used cup plus another for her guest, regardless of their response. She poured some still hot loose leaf earl grey into them, savouring the smell wafting up with the steam. "Mmm." A chicken clucked softly to itself in the distance. A gentle breeze wafted through, but for some reason the paperwork on the coffee table didn't get blown away. The visitor stared curiously and Leesy smirked. "Goblin magic."

I am a loyal member of many fandoms. I particularly enjoy revelling in the following realms:

And, of course, many others. I have only written for one of these as you saw on that poor, lonely book shelf. I'm rather fond of it. I have a few more planned but I don't want to start them until I've either made decent headway with my current work or completed it.

I aspire to improve my writing and gaining insight from those who read it is an excellent way to figure out where I'm going wrong and where I'm just being paranoid.
