Just an old girl from the middle of nowhere USA.

I live in an area of the country where being "different" is considered the "unforgiveable sin." Even though I am a follower of Jesus (I don't like the term "christian" and I don't consider myself religious either), I can't openly be who I am w/o losing everything I have - family, friends, job, church, etc.

I know some may think that's just down right cowardous, and it probably is, but when you don't have much of a choice b/c of what life has handed you at the moment, you do what you have to do. So I live just me, myself, and I (and my cats of course) and hope one day to move to an area of the country where I can be myself openly and proudly. It is a lonely world...very lonely.

I ship Spashley (South of Nowhere), Paily (Pretty Little Liars), Carmilla and Laura (webseries Carmilla), Karmy (Faking It), Lucy and Amy (D.E.B.S.), Vivster (webseries Anyone But Me), Brittana (Glee), Doccubus (Lost Girl) and Siophie (British soap Corination Street); w/o them I would not even be able to know who I am. Paily, Spashley, Hollstein (Carmilla and Laura), & Doccubus are my ultimate favorite, OTP couples. Gabby Christian and Mandy Musgrave are just absolutely brilliant together and their chemistry is beyond amazing. Shay Mitchell and Lindsey Shaw are beyond adorable and their chemistry is sickeningly perfect. One word for Bo and Dr. Lauren: EPIC. Laura and Carmilla...just look at 'em.

Why is it that the best Lesbian characters are all played by straight women? Of all my favs listed above, only Nicole Pacent from ABM is bi and Natashia Negovanlis from Carmilla is pan...the rest are all straight (at least as far as I know). But thank you, thank you ladies that you are unafraid to play these incredible characters for us and support our causes.

I wish we would have had stories/characters like these when I was young. Yeah I'm kinda old, especially in the eyes of probably 99% of the writers and readers on FanFiction.

I'm definitely a huge fan of Jacob Black's line from the Twilight Saga New Moon - "Age is just an number, baby."

OHHHH...just in case anyone cares: I'm desperately and completely in love with an amazing girl from SE Asia. Yes it's a massive LDR, but the love with have for each other is beyond explanation and someday we WILL be together. And just so you know, the 9000 miles between us SUCKS beyond explanation.
