I'm Summer Yates. Or just Summer. 16. HS Senior.

I read books. Fiction, fan fiction, manga, comics, magazines, sometimes the newspaper. I also do poetry sometimes, depends on my mood. I play guitar too, and a little bit of piano.

I started this account as one of my New Years Resolution and I'm hoping that I'll be able to fulfill it. Doubt it thought, lol.

Hoodies and jeans are my preferred outfits. I like listening to a lot of music. Classical. Rock. Rap. Pop. Indie. Jpop. Country.

Idk, that's the one genre of music I couldn't stand. Sorry.

Favorite band, as of the moment, would be The 1975. I love their album. Especially the song, 'Is There Somebody Who Can Watch You.' It's genius.

Favorite book, forever and ever and ever, The Shatter Me Trilogy, along with the e novellas by (the glorious) Tahereh Mafi. But I'm also really into the book Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. Everything by Rainbow Rowell, actually. Mitch Albom, too. He's an inspiring writer. I feel a strange need to add John Green's name to the list though the only book I ever read of his was 'The Fault in Our Stars'

I'm gonna try to make this into a hobby, a pastime or whatever. Because I agree with what Cather said in the book 'Fangirl' :

We write to disappear.
