When Jaune woke up back in his house with his sisters and family, all he could do was sigh. Every time he died he was forced to start over again, and this was what... the one thousandth time? More? If it doesn't matter how hard he tries, doesn't matter how much he fights. Then maybe it's time to just kick back and enjoy himself. Fate can find someone else to be its whipping boy.

Yang knew better than to look for love in a bar. She was neither foolish nor naive. A shame then, that his forged documents painted the picture of an accomplished and skilled warrior. Now he's trapped teaching students his own age how to be hunters, when he doesn't even know himself!

In the end, Max chose Chloe over everything, leading to the destruction of Arcadia Bay. But they soon realize Fate is not pleased with their defiance. Left with nothing but each other, they must outrun the ever growing wrath of Destiny while also confronting what it truly means to choose one person over the world. What it means to willingly crack the sky open for the one you love.

Max did the "right thing" and accepted Chloe's fate, saving Arcadia Bay from the tornado. After Chloe's funeral she went home to Seattle to deal with her devastating depression, wondering why she still has her time powers. There, she discovers where she went wrong, her true purpose, and goes back seven months to send her younger self on a journey to save both Chloe and Rachel.

Blake uses her Semblance for the first and last time.

Seeing that young man die in initiation was horrifying for her. Even with all her time in the White Fang, she hadn't expected to see such an idealistic man as Jaune Arc die like that.
