Name: Evelyn
Location: Texas
Education/Occupation: (Early) Highschool graduate and college student.
Personality: I'm quiet, polite, and hold justice and chivalry above all else. Opinionated and stubborn, I'm most always the first to fend for the underdog in any situation, with a quick tongue and a will like ice. I'm patient and calm, usually the sarcastic quipper of a group, but you would be wise not to trifle with me. On a superficial note, I like sweets and bread, hate the cold and swimming, and love dogs.
Beliefs: I don't tend to share religous, political, or moral thoughts with the general populus. I will talk about any, however, and if you ask will tell you mine--under the condition that you treat them with the same respect I give to yours.
Looks: My looks aren't anything to gawk at, but I am proud of my skin. It's pale, almost ivory, with some moles. I don't tan--or rather, can't. The sun burns me, and I fear tanning salons (I am not climbing into anything that closely resembling a coffin!).
Dream: To become a doctor of Psychology.
Why "IndigoPenguin"?: Indigo, color-wise, is a color of renewal and healing; symbolizing twilight. It's a transitional phase, a bridge between bright day and mysterious night--a connection between the realist being and the idealist. It is a color very much like myself: a medical nerd with a logical mind, yet at the same time an author; a cynic with a grasp on the world but still a desperate romantic with high ideals for the human race. As for penguins, they're just damn cute.
Things I Find Cute: Supportive couples--regardless of their sexuality. Bunnies. Baby animals. Happy old people. Bunnies. School uniforms. Military uniforms. Bunnies. Narcoleptic puppies. Einstein. ...And ducks.
Musical Artists I Like: Can anybody say 'eccentric'? R.E.D., Evans Blue, Celtic Women, Toybox, Bill Whelan (Riverdance), Josh Groban, all of the stuff from the folks at Cirque du Soleil, Yoko Kanno, and it goes on in the same non-linear fashion.
