I'm known by various names, almost too many to count, some ranging from characters from anime to books and bands. So call me Chimera, Light, Kaoru, Forge, or Kat, either way I'm bound to answer. (While somewhere within this site, I believe I have a lovely twin, who completes the pairs of my names: Scrambles, Wily, Hikaru, and Gred. :3 She, perhaps, the only one who truly knows why I write, and if I ever create anything will always be the first to see it.) Shadows is what I tag my reviews and messages. Anyway, I'm a 23 year old college student in my last semester, who has no plans to do anything all that productive with the chosen degree. Because my heart lies with the want to work as bartender in Music City, my state's capital, simply because I love the atmosphere that so many of the venues have and the bands that call the buildings home. :)

I suppose that I can blame a band that is near and dear to my heart, The Protomen, for their rock-opera spin of Megaman, where Wily has everyone under his thumb with his words. They are able to weave words into brilliant songs with complex melodies that beat in sync with your heart and are able to shake you to the core. On cd, they can send shivers down your spine -- Live. Well, lets just say they will with great and musical pleasure Melt-Your-Face-Off, then gladly do it again given the chance. It is best of the world that they painted, I really started taking up writing, when drawing became a challenge; and because of that world I now find cities to be interesting and oddly beautiful places. Especially, when I'm able to look down over a city at night and see the streetlights pretend to be stars.

Regardless, I found this site many years ago and by pure accident, and was more than pleased with the healthy selections of stories, with that brilliant odd gem. Yaoi was what I've been reading since the beginning because of older friends, and hardly do I ever stray from it. And to the this day I have yet to understand why, perhaps, it is because of the sexy, drool worthy characters that make it so enjoyable. Whatever, the case I doubt that I will ever turn my back on it. Since my first joining I've fluttered my way through fandoms, mostly anime with a few other here and there; As of right now I have a healthy kick and obsession with Bleach and all the many characters that are found in that wondrous world. My favorite pairings are usually IchigoxGrimmjow, IchigoxHollowIchigo, or just all three of them together. :3 Honestly, I find those to be rather interesting. But I will read others.

As for stories that I write, well, I've wrote my own for many years and really have only started writing fanfictions, the Bleach universe, has me held in it's grip and I highly doubt that I will leave it. I love writing, but I've found my ideas lacking, same with my abilities; however, I do try. Several stories are in the making, though for them seeing the light of day in Fanfiction.Net, well I'm not so sure. -.- What I have written and posted were just random thoughts to see how I could work with the characters, and to be honest, the hardest is Ichigo. While his hollow, Grimmjow, and Kisuke are unexpectedly, simple to write, or merely the words flow better with them. When it does come to writing, I find the stories that build in my head are mostly supernatural, or post-apocalyptic in the sense of tyrannical leaders taking over all we know.

This line comes from Breaking Out, a brilliantly weaved and soulful song, The Protomen created that inspires me in various ways. It never fails to provoke an image that I can't help, but write. Of course, they aren't the only ones, as. . .

Music is a favorite muse of mine and I listen to many things. Such as Kamelot, Nightwish, Rise Against, A Perfect Circle,Depeche Mode, The Birthday Massacre, Celldweller, Mumford & Sons, Alabama Shakes, Woodkid, Blue Stahli and many, many more.
