About Me:

We'll start with the particulars. 17-year-old female, currently residing somewhere in the southwest United States. In my spare time, I read, fence, (the sport... not putting up picket fencing...) write, sew, and waste time on tumblr. For some reason I have a habit of keeping my tumblr and my ff.net account separate, but if you're interested in my URL just send a PM my way and I'll be happy to oblige. :) That's about it, I suppose. Never really been all that good at doing "about-me" type stuff. I've had this account for a few years now, so please forgive any juvenile writing. I won't take anything down, because some of it's decent (and some of it I'm inordinately sentimentally attached to, like my very first fanfiction), but I AM rewriting Flotsam and Jetsam. Finally. So keep an eye out for that.

TV I watch: DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, The Next Generation, Once Upon a Time, Falling Skies, Top Gear, Battlestar Galactica, Quantum Leap, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: Universe, The Big Bang Theory

Books I read: Discworld, Harry Potter, Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks, Sherlock Holmes, Good Omens, Inkheart, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Ranger's Apprentice, The White Darkness, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, and a LOT more, which I won't list, because you'd be scrolling till you died. These were just the ones I could see on my bookshelf.

Movies I watch: Harry Potter, V for Vendetta, Pirates of the Caribbean, Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Avengers (and all it's sub-movies), X-Men (and all of IT'S sub-movies), Disney, Mystery Men, The Fifth Element, Lawrence of Arabia, Megamind, Lord of the Rings, and many, many more that I can't list off the top of my head.

STORY UPDATES: (Only pertains to stories without a "complete" label)

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Second Rise of Cutler Beckett
Currently my darling child. An intensive re-write of my previous (and horribly written) story Flotsam and Jetsam, it basically holds no resemblance to the original except that it has the same characters and a very similar first couple of chapters. Other than that, it is destined to diverge quite completely. Therefore, I would advise against thinking that you're smart and trying to read ahead in Flotsam and Jetsam, because A) I'm embarrassed by that story and B) it'll be completely confusing. Updates can be expected mostly likely weekly; if I'm lazy, biweekly. I'm going to try my damnedest not to be lazy.
Sherlock Holmes: Dinner At Simpson's, One Way or Another
This is on a permanent hiatus; I am out of ideas and haven't reread the canon recently enough to write Holmes and Watson in character. Probably will finish it eventually; exactly when eventually will come around is open to speculation. Besides, it's not that popular anyways, so I don't think anyone cares.
Sherlock Holmes: Pipe Smoke and London Fog
I am no longer actively adding new fics to this collection on account of my Sherlock muse having temporarily left me, and being devoid of new ideas. But I am not putting a "complete" on it just yet, because one day I will return to it. Eventually. (Ah, there's that damn "eventually" again. He's a dangerously unpredictable fellow.)
Sherlock Holmes: The Chess Set Rehabilitation
Chapter four is posted, FINALLY. Call it writers block or lack of inspiration, however, after that I've reached a standstill. Since so many people have it on alerts and I owe it to my dear Cookie, I will one day sit myself down and force myself to finish it... but that day is not today. Don't lose hope, though. Stories with "incomplete" markers on them annoy me probably as much as they do you.
Suits: Take a Hike (Community)
There was a time when I ate, drank, slept, breathed, and thought Marvey (Mike/Harvey) all day every day. Since the first season ended I've cooled off a lot from it, but I think if I ever got around to watching the second season I'd ship them just as hard again. Until that time, however, my Suits community for Marvey slash is stagnant and will remain so. I would really like to see someone take it off my hands for me. If you're interested in it and the work required to keep it up (I used to come home from school every day to sit down and read through the fics that had been posted since yesterday and pick out the ones that were slash to add them to the community) PM me (please!) and we'll work something out. Or if you don't want all that, just become a staffmember; as it would certainly be a load off my mind.
